General Assembly Project

Exploring further the idea of the sharing economy, Basket facilitates interaction between neighbourhoods through the sharing of products such as washers and dryers. Basket aims to highlight the fact that you could possibly have all the products you would ever need within walking distance of your home.

  • INTERVIEWS

    Interviews were crucial in understanding users concerns about sharing products at every stage of the process. They also highlighted the need for community interaction.

  • AFFINITY MAPPING

    By far the most useful tool in this project, affinity mapping allowed me to prioritise and allocate weight to concerns and key data points. This focused my project dramatically.

  • PAPER PROTOTYPING

    Paper prototyping was crucial for me in understanding the channels of information. After several attempts I was able to refine and reduce the amount of interaction before the dichotomy.
